Got my laser limping along till some parts arrive from lightobjects ( hope they solve my layer shifting problems. Until then I was able to get minimal shifting on this engrave

in case anyone was curious what the original image looked like after i processed it

Alex, you are getting very good at this! What are your basic pre laser imaging processing steps and what program(s) do you use?

what parts did you get to solve the layer shift

@Joe_Spanier ​ Right now they are sitting in my shopping cart… Idler pulley and mount along with new belts… after a bit of inspection I have noticed quite a bit of rubber dust. The belts are losing their teeth… I am debating getting a new pulley that is affixed to the stepper as well, since the stock pulley is a press fit. I did manage to get my stock idler straightened a bit and to get the results above required slowing down light and dark proportional feed along with lowering the power I would normally engrave
