@Brook_Drumm Can you update the instruction page on how to modify the software settings for the larger bed, it seems to be missing.

@Brook_Drumm Does the Kapton tape square come with the heated bed option? I noticed the instructions say to use the tape to secure the wires of the heat plate. Do you include a square for the top of the bed? Also the store does not have an option to order larger kapton squares for the upgrade.

I’ll update instructions for how to extend the bed size… M211 if memory serves.

And yes, we include the kapton for the wires.

You should see 6x6 and 10x10 kapton in the stores… Cut as needed

@Brook_Drumm Ok I ordered a roll from Amazon 6 X 36 yards for $24.00 should last me about a thousand prints. LOL

Some of the Amazon stuff is ok, some isn’t. If it’s good, share the link with the community

I have some Amazon stuff, a roll and some sheets. Both were too thin to apply without bubbles. Printrbot’s is thick enough to apply easily and even though its so much more expensive, it lasts me much longer and is worth the price.

Did you use a soapy solution to apply the Kapton and then use a a rubber blade to squeeze the soapy solution away from the Kapton? You then let it air dry and you will have a perfect application of the tape.

I’ll test that thanks. Windex was also suggested. I’ll have to add that to the alcohol, hairspray, and other odd 3D printing tools next to my printer.

@Brook_Drumm Can you update the product page to state that the Kapton tape for the Bed is not included. If I would have know I would have ordered a sheet. You have a photo of a sheet of Kapton with the product but that is to secure the wires. Thanks

Got one from the get go but i had to increase the power from your power supply if you do not you will not get even heating of the pc base.
