Good teeth, bad teeth.

Good teeth, bad teeth. If you’re upping your flow to compensate for under-extrusion, it may be that your extruder ain’t exttroodin.

Will the filament actually eat away at the teeth over time?

Any good alternatives?

Having a spare on hand.

This is a realllly old sonic screwdriver lol

When hobbing the bolt, use cutting oil. Make sure nothing is stuck in the teeth of the tap.

I found also that with abs if clamping teh tension roller too hard without filament moving through the extruder can cause the teeth to fold over. Only a heat treated bolt would prevent this.
