Getting ready already… anyone made any string Xmas lights using FastLED? I just took delivery of 100M of WS2811 string lights in IP68 spec.
My wife’s first reaction - They’re BRIGHT! (set at brightness of 64 - so 1/4 power).
You can keep them bare or I like to diffuse with ping pong balls. You get great color but not the blinding brightness… you neighbors will appreciate it 
They already have a diffused silicone cover
They are still super bright with the diffused cover…
