A friend who also purchased the Geeetech A10 when it was inexpensive started to have extruder issues too. It was a great excuse to upgrade the printer so I was told that I could have the old one for $50.00.
What is a 3D printer hoarder to do but to buy it!
A little elbow grease and Marlin upgrade and it was good as new. I forgot how noisy the 4988 drivers are! Going to leave it stock for now and start to break modify my old one some more!
