FSR 402 Setup on Kossel (Folgertech Early 2015). Printing ABS now.
I have a 220mm Glass top with a “Keenovo” heater (Works Fantastic)

My issue is false triggers from the FSR circuit when leveling the bed.
The sensor board sends a wild trigger when using the higher heat requirement for ABS. Now going back to a 50c (106F) heat range to print PLA gives me false triggers now. Will the higher heat damage FSR’s?
I ordered new FSR’s but don’t want to damage the new ones as they aren’t cheap. There is a 10mmx5mm round acrylic adhered to the glass and sitting on each FSR. I cannot post any video of this right now (I’m at work). Any ideas?

I thought FSR’s could not be used near heat?

the spec sheet doesn’t say you can’t but it does say that the values will skew at 80 degrees centigrade after 1 min.

I am trying to find a material to use as a spacer that does not transfer heat easily between it and the glass

I think that insulating the FSR will not be enough as heat will just accumulate more slowly. You need to actively cool it by e.g. mounting it to a aluminium piece/heatsink.
