Frankenbot update. Taking forever.

The length of the supplied rods, less the length of (the supplied bearings plus printed mounting brackets) is just over 250mm. So…

I’m looking for a cheap source of 250x250mm bed material. I found an ebay distributor of PEI in 10x10" (ie: 250x250). But would like something rigid, maybe heated to mount it to. My ebay searching finds 300x300, lots of 200x200, and even some 300x200. But the 250x250 space is somewhat empty.

Get some aluminum cut. Lots of local machine shops have that kind of service here. You could also get a piece of mic6. I love that stuff. Extremely flat

cough Just got a quote on 12x12x1/4" MIC-6. $162. That’s too rich, even if we’re talking Canadian Tire money…
