Few days ago I was revisited @Simon_Litwan from http://teil3.ch who developed a 3d printer named “Freedeepee” using linear bearing (ODR), here a few photos, last photo shows the pellet filament extruder part he is working on.
PS: Some closeup photos are a bit blurry, took the photos with my older cellphone.
As I can’t edit the forwarded message, it’s ORD (as of Open Rail Design) not ODR, but also comes from ORD Bot by Bart Dring.
Nice, seems easy to build! How much does it costs?
He sells the printer already indeed, but it’s not yet online mentioned at http://teil3.ch (perhaps in a couple of days, he mention he works on an online shop update). He is very busy finishing a batch of a few dozen printers now. The pricing is about 1200 CHF assembled or apprx. 1000 EUR excl. shipment as far I know. He is operating out of Zurich, Switzerland.
