@omer_can_Inci I see. I thought the yellow part was deflecting. With my chinese machine the grey part is a solid block of soft aluminium. Not a plate. So I guess I won’t have the same deflection issue.

I’ll take some measurements to see if I can do it in a similar way.

Also using a steel or brass part between set screws and counterpart is a good idea, like dovetails on mills.

@omer_can_Inci I guess a washer (far off center) would work to push against.
