For the very first time, I have purchased a printer over building. Friend of a friend was selling their simple metal and I couldn’t turn it down. I’m usually a full RepRap guy but after seeing one of these in real life a few years back, I fell in love. @Brook_Drumm thanks for making such an outstanding product. This one needs some definite TLC but I’ve never been so excited to have a new machine.
This will be replacing the G-Rap as my main printer. Many thousands of hours has tired that machine out. It has definitely earned itself a quiet retirement.
I have a Simple Pro and absolutely love it. @Brook_Drumm1 makes awesome equipment!
Hit me up if you need anything! It’s cool to see these machines be passed on to new owners. Glad we build them solid. I wonder if a third generation owner will refurb it again in a few years.

@Brook_Drumm I’m gonna tear it down and fully service it to see what I’m missing/needs replacing. I’m okay with some scratches and dings… builds character.
The simple metal is a solid machine. I used mine for years and thousands of prints before switching to another printer as my primary.
In the spirit of @Brook_Drumm 's AdoptABot effort I’m planning on refurbishing mine and donating it to a local school.
