Bought one off eBay 'cause of the sale price plus coupon (~$326 w/ S/H).
No problems unpacking/assembling — the commissioning process involved printing two models, but I misunderstood one dialog, so printed the first part twice, resulting in my running out of blue, so the Benchy (second model) has a black pin stripe:
Currently working out which filaments will go on what holder — obviously Elegoo PLA black got loaded (but I can’t find a pre-set for it on the AD5X?), two:
- eSUN Bone White
- Polymaker Metallic Chrome
(from Robert Cowan’s “Gridfinity Lessons Learned” video) are on cardboard spools, so I guess would be better on the lower two holders.
