If you notice the different printing heads of “project escher” when work together have to maintain the same Z level. This means that we could have the bed travel in Z direction instead of each head. I shall make each head travel on own gantry using the belt and pinion system and let each gantry travel on the frame by means of own motors with a common belt to all gantries on each side of the frame.
If anyone likes to make this open source community project then please brain storm with ideas where to host it.
