Finally finished my 3D printer enclosure for my baby. Yes, it’s all wood, but all internal surfaces were coated with no less than three layers of fire retardant.
Nice box, and the led give a pretty fine good Lightning !
-Any project for a futur add-on (thermal enclosure / VMC / HEPA Particules Filter) ?
I already designed a top-mounted fan/filter enclosure if I ever decide to use one of the more “dangerous” filaments, but for now I’m sticking with PLA and PETG.
Something I might try way down the road is getting the electronics out of the printer and into a separate area, because electronics hate heat. But that’s so far down the road it’s not even a consideration right now.
