Inspirational!

I suppose a few details would be nice.

1500x1500mm
Cutting area of roughly 4’x4’
Planet cnc controller
Keling 400 something oz stepper
1605 ball screws on y axis
1616 ball screw on y
Started out as an R7
Double sandwich c beam, one c Beam and one 8020 bolted together

I’m going to use all the r7 parts to make a plasma table hehehe

Looks pretty sweet. Do yourself a favor and get one of the 800w water-cooled spindles too though!

Is there any downside to how he mounted the x axis rails? meaning not on the spoil board itself. Changing out spoilboard for him has got to be alot easier

So far I haven’t had a downside, easy to change out, gives a little more clearance. Eventually I plan on running plasma on this. I’m quickly outgrowing the r7 standard size table! Keep in mind this is a steel table I welded up

Other than getting the right tension on ball screws being a !&$=@$# sometimes
