FastLED driven clock. Using digital leds to make an analog clock.

The base is laser cut acrylic. Started with a wood base to prototype. Moved to acrylic as soon as the dimensions worked out.

I made 2 of them, one has the Teensy 3.2 with on board RTC (this is overkill but the clock is integrated so that is easy). The2nd is driven by a Adafruit trinket pro 5v and an outboard RTC. Cheaper, more appropriate miciro but more complicated to wire.

2 button Interface. press one to adjust hours, the other to adjust minutes . Press both to change the color scheme.

The LEDs are the 4 part, 60-led ring available from Adafruit (about $US40 pre ring) or on ebay for less.

Every hour, on the hour, it does one fast colorwipe per hour as a form of digital cuckoo.
