How do some of you have your faro arms mounted?

I wonder if anybody in this forum has a Faro arm. That is a lttle out of reach for most hobbyists.

There’s one person who posted a home faro arm setup that was beautiful, but that was some years ago… 2019 to be exact, and hasn’t been active here for years.
When measuring physical objects sometimes calipers, squares, rulers and height gauges feel inadequate and accuracy is questionable depending on what you are measuring. I wanted a tool that can pick up any point in a 3 dimensional space and easily import into my CAD software of choice.
