Extruder upgrade printed out in three different materials, PLA, ABS, and PET+. The PLA was an on Affinia H but the ABS and PET+ were on my Replicator Dual. The ABS has the crispest definition the PET+ has a problem letting go of the support material (you can still see the ring there if you are familiar with this part). Looks like I have lots of opportunity to “tune” the PET+ to be better. One thing about it was a number of wispy ‘strands’.
So are there good test objects to print when tuning up a new process? Looking back I think I was asleep or something when I first unpacked this machine.
