Ender 3s

My father and I recently picked up a pair of used ender 3s. Currently working on the ender 3 pro. Found out that it has a bigtreetech skr e3v3 in and its hot end was messed up so I bought the creality sprite pro. From what Ive read that combo will let me print with the stronger filiments but with the temp I need a firmware update for the board. How do I go about doing that?

Looks like you can get the latest updated firmware here. I don’t know if it includes the temperature(s) you need.

If it does not include what you need, you can edit the Marlin firmware directly. This might be the branch you need. I’d recommend verifying exactly which board you have first.

I’ve used that extruder on my Ender 3 with the BTT E3V3. Good choice too. I updated the firmware with VS Code, using the Auto_Build_Marlin extension. I still have the BTT E3V3 shelved.
