Elegoo Printer

I abandoned an old 3D printer many years ago, so I have not kept up with the craft and technology.
Recently, my grandkids have gotten interested in 3D printing.

I tripped across this machine recently, and the price seemed too good to be true.

Any experience with this machine and/or the company?
If I were to purchase, it would be used for kids tinkering and electronics enclosures.

It’s one I’ve been considering.

There are a couple of preview videos which are well done and promising.

this link worked better for me Elegoo Centauri Carbon | Best High-Speed CoreXY 3D Printer – ELEGOO US

Will post how it looks and works when it arrives.

My son has an Elegoo Centauri Carbon. The prints are outstanding. It prints closer tolerances than our Bambu printers at the moment. He’s using Orca Slicer with it. I guess if I had to gripe about something then it would be a louder cooling fan. It doesn’t bother us but might bother some.

I have several Elegoo SLA printers as well (Mars and Saturn’s). I’ve never had any quality/service issues with any of them.

I broke down and bought one (with the vibration isolating feet) — will post more when I get it — hoping to be able to use it to apply Gridfinity to pretty much all of my tools and finally get them under control.

EDIT: I seem to have missed the 31 July cutoff (even though that is what was on the page when I ordered), so guess I’m in the 31 15 August batch…
