E3D Aero Extruder stepper question

Can anyone suggest a good stepper motor for the Titan Aero?
I want one that is 35~mm long or less.
Also thinking a 0.9 Deg step instead of 1.8 Deg step

I’ve been reading lots of threads and people say that the pancake/narrow ones don’t have enough torque, and also people saying they are using them and saying they are fine. So I thought I’d ask the experts. YOU GUYS!

I’ve also read that 0.9 deg step is not needed because of the gearing on the Aero extruder and wont make any difference… Thoughts on that?

I’ll be printing with 1.75 mm filament, ABS, PETG, PLA, flexible and Nylon, the extruder is going on my Wanhao i3 Plus (24v if that makes a difference, but I don’t think it does?)

Well I used to use this one on my Titan with no issue and now it’s running my Flex3Drive Gen4.

I bought E3D’s slim motors for my current build, they’re designed to be the most compact stepper for use with the Aero:

You don’t need 0.9 degree unless you’re doing very low-flow work, like 0.3mm nozzles at tiny layer heights. All it gives you is more resolution and lower top speed.
