Hi everyone,
I’ve been working almost exclusively on the FoamCutter project lately.
After some initial failures, I think I’m now in a good position to present it to you.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been working almost exclusively on the FoamCutter project lately.
After some initial failures, I think I’m now in a good position to present it to you.
Hello everyone,
I would like to briefly inform you about the new features of the current beta version V6.25 for the Foam Cutter. These relate to the various options for cutting the Styrofoam block into shape. Details on the commands used can be found in the PDF document “Styrofoam Cutter” on my website.
Hi!
This is a great software. Many thanks for your effort.
I am trying the last beta version and I miss the Create job / Cut wing menu…
Now it is really hard to perform a cutout in a wing. I am still trying without success in a basic profile with a simple cutout.
Adding the commands in the text editor seems not clear to me in a regular profile.
It would be great if this can be improved to a clear way (foolproof…) or more clear explanation or examples. The one in the video did not help me too much… but I can be the issue…
Ok, the program may take some getting used to.
But it offers users maximum flexibility in designing the workflow. I will try to go into more detail in my next video.
You may also want to watch the last video again. It is important to understand that you can create your own templates. When you create a new job, all existing templates will appear for you to choose from. For example, you can create a template called “Cut wing” by copying and modifying an existing template.
The commands in the control file determine exactly what the job should do. Please take another look at the documentation on my website. It describes exactly what each command does.
If you provide me with your DXF file here and explain the order in which the cuts should be made,
I will be happy to create a template for you and explain each step.
Hello everyone,
I have uploaded a new version, V6.28, to my website.
This now makes it possible to cut both wings from a single block.
You can choose whether the wings should be positioned next to each other or one above the other.
In addition to DXF files, GrblGru can also load the familiar .dat files.
In this video, I show you how to load the .dat file and then prepare the standardized files with WingCreator. Finally, I go into more detail about programming the process flow
Have fun with it ![]()
Hello everyone,
I have created a new beta version V6.31 and uploaded it to my website.
In it, I have tried to simplify the handling of the Wing Creator even further. Now both wings can be created directly here.
In addition, it is now also possible to create negative shapes of the core.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas
