Does anyone know if there is a quality difference between LM8UU and LME8UU linear bearings?

as far as I know depending where you are in the world lm8uu so named in the west and in the east they lme8uu, but am no expert.

So no, LM or LME is not indicating a quality difference.

Well, I they say they differ in eg. hole tolerances, which would be a definite quality indicator. They don’t say which one has the tighter tolerances, though.

Besides having a body 1mm larger in length and diameter than LMs, they are about the same quality.
