Do most of you guys throw away your failed prints or keep them?
Some of them I keep, and mark them with the cause of the failure. This way I have a good reference when I run into failures down the line that I need to troubleshoot. But mostly they just collect dust in the corner of the room.
How much in kgs would you say you have?
about 1 1/2 kilos saved up over the past year, while I was learning how to tune up my MB Cupcake.
I keep them in a box. When I do a workshop or a presentation I let the people pick a print.
i kept mine thinking soon a crush’em and feed it too a filastruder
I also keep them with the thought that some day I’ll try crushing them up and turning them into recycled filament.
I’ll never end up doing that though. Luckily someone else fronted the bill for 99% of the failed prints so I’m not to at a loss for it.
