Discovered an interesting new problem (for me anyway) with the heated bed of the Printrbot Metal Plus: Over time, the heater and thermistor wires can develop some slack in them, and that slack can form a loop that gets caught up in the Y-axis stepper/pulley/belt assembly. No apparent permanent damage, but something of a surprise. Quite probably since mine came off the line the (not very tight zip-tie) anchoring method has improved. But if the bed temperature measurements get really weird this might be why.
Fresh kapton and a couple carefully placed zip ties should solve it

Didn’t even need more kapton – the thermistor pulled out from under. But I wrapped a little bit of tape around the thermistor this time so it doesn’t short if it somehow pulls out again. (Watching the build plate tool along at a reported temperature of 973.2C was interesting, but not really useful)
