Didn’t realize this until today, but speed greatly affects the darkness of raster burns… go figure. Anyway, check out the results from LW4 and GRBL-LPC on C3D board! I am quite happy!

I am still dialing in LW4 for image engraving… I was very successful when using lw3 when it had the speed compensation for lights and darks, I have found it harder to nail the photo engraves without it

That’s an impressive result. Well done! It matches my findings that the wood needs some time to get dark, therefore lower feeds and pwm frequency gets better contrast.

This is at 2500 PWM value for GRBL-LPC. Forgot to note that in the photos as it does make a big difference.
