Cura vs slic3r

on k8200 (3drag)

PLA
scale 0.3
speed 60mm/s
layer height 0.15
infill 15%

ps: any advice to improve speed and/or quality ?

Slic3r looks a bit better here. What is your assessment of both the slicers on close inspection of the piece ?

light of the picture enhance the default.

But yes the slicer one is better on the k8200.

As far i found slicer better at high speed, for brige and overhang. Cura is better for support, have less unnecessary travels and better path.

but i only start with cura, i need probably more “know how”.

but for my custom 3dr simple , i find cura better, as my delta has bad linear bearing, the better path of cura make the difference. (the one black one the background)

try kisslicer

Agreed, try Kiss. Though I’ve been impressed with slic3r lately. I used to hate it but the past few times I’ve run projects with, I’ve been quite impressed with the results.
