Craftbot vs Flashforge Creator Pro...

Craftbot vs Flashforge Creator Pro… I’m looking into buying a printer and having trouble deciding on which to buy. These two are on my short list, but would like to have input from those that have experience with them.

Haven’t used either, so can’t help you there. But perhaps you should try emailing some pre-sales questions and see what kind of support / customer service they provide you.

The most recent Craftbots are getting really high praise from credible people in the community. (Like the 3D Printing Today podcast guys.) It has better mechanics, nicer interface, and faster processor than the FFCP.

The FFCP is a pretty solid printer but nothing fancy. I would go with the Craftbot unless you really truly need dualstrusion.

Not sure I need the dual extrusion… I have considered getting the Pallette later for multiple filaments…

Craftbot slicers are really fast. Loading the bigger files and Slicing are faster comparing to Slic3r. Also, their supports are reliable. Even you can add your own supports. (I just use only the Craftware slicer). Still it has its own disadvantages also…

I have already purchased Simplify 3d. I worked with the Craftware and wanted a little more options. I was a CNC programmer/mold maker for a bit of time, so I’m not as concerned from that aspect. I sent an email to Craftunique about the machine and they said that shipment may be “on - hold” due to a shipment they are awaiting. Also, the FF creator pro just dropped $100 in price with free 2 day shipping… I may just go with the FFCP for now.
