Hey, the batteries of my remote r drained, and the remote control requires a 3V CR2450 battery. It is 5mm thick. I have 2 CR2430s here, which also have 3 volts. Can I use only two thinner CR2430 batteries instead of one thick battery? thanks.
I assume you mean stacking the 2430s to create a β2460β? That would also make a 6V battery, that might damage the circuit.
A 2430 plus a 2mm spacer (eg a washer?) might work, but obviously has lower capacity than a 2450.

thanks bob, i got a new battery today so I donβt hv to use two cr2430 to replace the old one anymore.
