Could you tell me,

Could you tell me, if I scale up a model in Simplify3D to approximately 200% does the Model pick up problems as you scale it up, create holes etc. Would like to print a extra large "Braq jionted Dragon " from Thingiverse

Simplify3D also has the ability to ‘join all outlines’ which is pretty good as far as fixing some problematic models. Though be aware it’ll also tend to get rid of holes that are meant to be there also.

Also, if the parts are made to fit together, the clearances will grow 200% as well and the fit may become sloppy. I usually see this by try to scale things down - that nice slip fit becomes an interference or press fit!

I would imagine there would be some distortion / fit issues scaling it up so much. Have you tried printing Braq yet? He was surprisingly large arlready

Might be worth running the problem model through netfabbb

So if I have STL and I want to scale it up, which is the best way to do it without causing any printing problems with the model.
