That is very cool. I am going to stress test it later and see how it does with some difficult models.

Arjun pointed me to his work when I was trying to make my Mathematical rosette iron and while it didn’t work for that particular model because I really needed it to follow curves, he’s posted some nice work on twitter from time that he’s carved with this tool

The software is pretty impressive. Put it through its paces. It did not do great at really deep models but that does not diminish how good this was.
Most commercial sites will give you a low resolution model/image for free in the hopes to resell you for a full size resolution model/image. I went up to 4K and no issues.
Just as a FYI, not all 3d models are good candidates for cnc bas relief translation (at least not without a lot of work).
