@Paul_de_Groot What have I missed that I cannot connect the mini Gerbil to my Raspi? On your site I found drivers for Windows. But how do I connect it to other machines and OSs? Can you please point me into the right direction?
What happened when you tried? Linux has drivers built in for most common USB serial chips, to the point that in the “FTDI clone wars” the Linux driver incorporated undoing FTDI’s attempt to brick clones to bring them back to working.

This first attempt was with a Zero. Now we tried with a Raspi 3 and it worked out of the box.
