Computer vision companies Dacuda and Volumental have teamed up to unveil the world’s first mobile application for easily creating printable 3D selfies by simply capturing video on a mobile tablet! This work was generated from a collaboration with my group and it’s great that our probabilistic real-time dense reconstruction pipeline (REMODE), presented at the ICRA’14 conference last year (see video here: http://youtu.be/QTKd5UWCG0Q), is actually also used there!
