Can someone how split function work in Sketchup?
My apologies for not answering your question, but please consider to learn a different program if your purpose is creation of models for 3D printing. Sketchup is notorious for creating non-manifold, defective models when it comes to 3D printing.
A quick google search shows that many people have problems with the split option and that’s not too surprising either.
If you google sketchup split you will find a number of tutorials and videos.
@Fred_U Yes I know and I do split easily with other SW including the printing SW, but I was looking to satisfy my curiosity as I saw an option and did not understand how it works, and I searched many tutorials not finding an answer. Any how even though I build for print I find Sketchup the easiest tool I can use. Many thanks
