Can anyone give me a quick rundown or share a link to turn the github repository into an executable that I can run on PC/Mac? I’m a software developer but I’ve never done anything with node or react, etc… I did an npm install, and that succeeded, but now what? I have a feature idea I’d like to play with. Thanks!
Yes, thanks, I’ve seen that. I’d like to know how to build LaserWeb.app from the sources and I don’t see that documented anywhere. Did I miss it?
I should add that I have it running in the browser using hints I found in win.shell.cmd. I’d like to generate the stand-alone executables.
It’s a ton more convenient to debug the non-exe version. I rarely produce binaries, so have to check the docs when I do. I lost the link to that part.
Ok. My feature idea is pretty simple and I just about have it working in the browser version. So maybe that’s good enough to commit my changes and see what people think. But eventually I’d love to learn how to build the exe, etc.
It’s on http://lw.comm.server, electron bundler branch
Thank you. I’ll take a look at that.
