Because SHE's worth it?

Because SHE’s worth it? I was having a nightmare getting layer 1 to take for these four brackets, prints before them had been fine. My daughters hair spray to the rescue. First time I’ve tried it and it worked brilliantly!

Boats are female ("… and all that sail in Her") so what about our printers? That could lead to some interesting conversations with the Mrs… “you spend more time with her than you do with me”.

Try purple glue stick. I found it works better, and you don’t end up with a workshop that smells like a whorehouse. Err… I mean… a friend told me… that’s how they smell… Yeah.

Mine’s is Conway, so… yeah.

I buy my Aquanet in the Beauty School Economy Size can.

As @Mike_Miller can attest printers are female … in that they sometimes behave and react in ways mere mortals like us can’t understand …

LOL @William_Frick , you’re not wrong there!

@Shachar_Weis as a photographer I associate the smell with a studio and fashion shoot, but if that’s what your “friend” says
I have a Kossel Mini - KM, think I’ll call it Kate Moss.

Yup, lower than 70 and things would come unstuck. That’s before I tried Elnet though so I will try backing things down.

Man, and here I am just removing the bed and soaking it in water.

I’ll 2nd that. Plain old white glue stick on glass works for me, too.

With a PEI / Ultem surface, you don’t need to apply anything every few parts, or clean residue off the bed.

@Jeff_DeMaagd Where do you get Ultem film ?

I bought 0.03" thick from Amazon.com, same with some 3M 468MP adhesive to stick it to glass plate.

Since spraying the glass for two prints I’ve not had to do it again.

That’s the first I’ve heard of such resilience. Hair spray seems to need re-application every several parts because it gets peeled away bit by bit. After a while, residue of re-applications means needing to wash it off.
