Because I haven’t played with #LaserWeb all day…
I will admit the images take a bit longer to raster but the results are amazing
Nice @Alex_Krause
+Peter van der Walt why is this not a vector engrave?
The oxford dictionary define a laser printer as “A printer linked to a computer producing good-quality printed material by using a laser to form a pattern of electrostatically charged dots on a light-sensitive drum, which attract toner (or dry ink powder). The toner is transferred to a piece of paper and fixed by a heating process.”
This is not the above.
There is no additive process going on here, and in this case there is definitely no 3D ness So 3D laser printer this is not.
A SLS SLA or similar machine in my option is a 3D laser printer, as there is material being added.
A cutter, engraver, etcher, remove material, even in this case i am sure the surface is no longer smooth?
Perhaps we should call it a Laser marker?
mark: “make a visible impression or stain on”

Below cool video,
+Peter van der Walt haha you started it
That does look extremely nice.
That is very inspiring Alex! Sets the bar for what I need to achieve now. Thank you.
This looks great! Would you mind showing the source image? Would be helpful to compare source image to the results.
Awesome, thanks!
