@jinx_OI I think it is evolutionary. They started out by placing “Digital Eagles” into branches to teach folks how to use technology like PCs, iPads etc. to work online.
This is an expansion into providing wider technology training for small business and interested individuals.
A happy customer base, especially business oriented, will mean more opportunities for Barclays. I do not think it is entirely altruistic.
