Bambu 3D Printer Recommendation

I’m looking at getting a P2S or X2D

which one would you recommend?

I primarily do PLA but i SOMETIMES do ABS and ASA

I did TPU for the AMS once but wasn’t really impressed by the material itself.. Printed fine though

As far as I know, on this site, we don’t have any influencers being given bambu printers after signing contracts with non-disparagement clauses. Plenty of us (like… me!) have seen their user-hostile behaviors and disregard for intellectual property and are not comfortable recommending them generally. I used to say that well if you wanted to rent a printer for an indeterminate time until the vendor decided you couldn’t use the features you want, I guess sure go ahead, but they keep making it harder to say that.

If you want to print in ABS, you want a heated chamber.

Maybe you should’ve asked "What printer like the bamboo-hoo-hoo would you recommend ?

But then I’m an Ender3 guy, so there’s that… NO, I would not recommend an Ender3 in any version. I would recommend you spend you money on the absolute ‘best’ machine your design abilities can afford… But first I would recommend you learn FreeCAD (OOPS, I said it).

For me the tie breaker would be if you need active chamber heating and if you would get better efficiencies with the dual nozzles from the X2D. If these two make sense then the X2D is the winner.

If you just need basic industrial filament usage then the passive heated chamber of the P2S is good enough.

The $100-150 cost difference between them may or may not be a concern.

I am eyeing the P2S personally when my P1P finally starts failing.

My problem is my P1P is printing as good as its first print after thousands of hours of prints. Maybe I should stop doing the maintenance so I have an excuse to replace it. ;D
