Axis not moving, but homing works

I am using Marlin on RAMPS for driving the printer. It was working fine.

But now the XYZ axis are not moving for axis +/- commands, but when I give home command all the Axis are homed correctly.

Not sure how to debug

I had this problem on my PrintrBot Simple when I tried to switch to an E3D hot end. Turns out I had shorted my thermistor, and some safety in Marlin wouldn’t allow the jog movements, but would allow homing.

tl;dr: Check your hot end thermistor and its connections. Weird cause, but it happened to me.

Sounds like you broke a wire or a connection came loose on your thermistor.

update: as you said the thermistor was faulty, after disabling thermistor in marlin firmware, it works. Thanks for the help
