Hi all. So my laser just died.
When trying to see if it is not an alignment issue I heard a whistle sound from the power supply area.
I found that the high voltage power cable was burned and the ark is “leaking” sparking against the machine frame.
I’m now concerned that the tube is gone and the ark is because of energy build up. Am I wrong?

Does the tube light up?
Will the machine image at all?
When the tube goes there is no load on the LPS and it is common for it to arc.
If it’s arching you may also have damaged the supply.
Try a new tube first.
