Anyone in Australia looking to buy a 3D printer, check out http://www.bilbycnc.com.au. Bilby CNC are great with their communication, a pleasure to deal with. When they get their stock, they’re fast to ship, and their support is second to none, here. I haven’t got my Replicator 2 from them, yet, but I just had a great exchange with one of their sales staff, getting an update on the ETA. A friend of mine got his Replicator 1 through them, and he was pretty happy with their service, which is why I went to them.
It’s all Makerbot crap and Makerbot clones. Yet they’re using the RepRap teardrop as part of their logo. Also, I will not apologize for my Makerbot hate. Someone suggest a better company to order from, quickly.
To each their own, I guess.
Anthony, 1.75 & 3mm ABS and PLA prints on sooo many other printers than just Makerbots. That’s most of what we sell … and then there’s all those parts for making RepRaps as well under categories 3D Printer Parts and Extruder Parts. We used to sell complete RepRap kits, but can’t put them together for less than you can buy them elsewhere, so they are no more
Hi! I’d like to reiterate how good it is to deal with your company
I’ve had my Replicator 2 for a while now, and touch wood, no problems. I’ve been burning through filament, and whenever I order more, you always seem to ship it out very quickly. The best part of dealing with any company is not having to follow up on late orders
Thanks Michael, we try very hard to keep parts and consumables in stock so we can send them in our daily drop to AusPost at 11am. Trying to get together the money for a bigger factory/warehouse right now…
I usually suggest http://create3d.com.au/shop/ to people in Australia, because that’s @Triffid_Hunter 's 3D printer related business. Someone who has somewhat of a reputation in the reprap community, but there was a complaint here a month or so back about lack of communication; I don’t know if that’s been resolved. Seeing as the website is back up and running, I believe it has been.
I still stand by the fact that bilbycnc is simply a makerbot clone store…I wouldn’t support them.
