Anyone here have the compiled firmware for the TinyG2 (the one for the Arduino Due) - reasonable new version would be preferred… ?

(I’m lazy, don’t want to spend time on setting the build-environment up :slight_smile:

There’s a link to one (I believe) in the firmware updater built into ChiliPeppr.

Hmmm, can’t see that…

Did you look here: http://synthetos.github.io/g2/ ?

Yes - version 078.03 is kinda old, isn’t it?

I guess, so is tinyG 440.20.
Are there specific issues issues you are trying to resolve?

At the very bottom of the firmware uploader device dropdown is TinyG G2 native or programming port selection, you pick the one depending on how your due is plugged in.

For some experiments I’m doing I need a “stock” version. But it must work with CilliPeppr.

Oh well, going to setup a tool-chain …

@raykholo yes, but it’s the binary firmware file I’m missing.

This? http://storage.googleapis.com/chilipeppr-bucket/TinyG2-gShield-087edge.bin

@raykholo Yup :slight_smile: Thanks.

@Michael_Jacobsen , what is your CNC machine wiring of the limit switches, NO or NC? Do you plan to use probing? You will find my other posts related to TinyG2 on ArduinoDue, which I am still testing, but I must say it looks OK with latest tuning.

I can send you the compiled firmware next week (tested with NC limit switches), as I am currently on a business trip quite far from home. This is latest version I found on Github, I think 89.02.

@sszafran Thanks, but I got what I need :slight_smile: Just wanted to see how a “fresh” TinyG2 responds to the commands sent to it - playing around with a non-CNC project. Will reveal it later if it works at all…
