Anyone have any thoughts on 3d printer da Vinci mini 3d printer Amazon has it for $260 was thinking about getting my first 3D pri her and thought this might be a good one to learn with
I would recommend against. I haven’t heard anything positive about the DA Vinci printers and for $300 you can pick up a refurb Printrbot play which is an awesome first printer and made of all metal with legit components. Just my .02

Definitely avoid the Da Vinci machines, overall very poor printers that sacrifice a lot to get the price down.
PrintrBot Play is a good suggestion for a starter, and the Maker Select Mini is also a good choice (though expect more tweaking and modding to get good results than you’ll have with the PrintrBot).

The pro version isn’t bad actually.
Had Da Vinci 2.0 Duo. Two color printing wasn’t too difficult but print quality was poor.
