It’s just an lcd with uv leds behind it and some optics to keep the light focused. 200micron xy is pretty meh, I would stick to fdm. Most people don’t realize the sheer mess and sensitization risk of resin. They also list laser based sla as having higher quality than dlp which isn’t correct. I really think large volume low resolution resin printers are not all that useful for most people. The support structure limitations of resin printing restrict usability and should be known beforehand (you’re not going to be peeling off support that it nicely generated for you) resin printing is awesome where the use case doesn’t have analogs … such as 25 micron resolution.

@Brad_Hill i was wondering the same. And i was wondering why they were not using ipad 3/4 LCDs that can be had for very cheap.

Anyhow, i am waiting on littlerp 2 to get out of beta. I am eager to see if there will be a projector supported that will not need dismantling to get good focus.

Since i am an absolute electronics noob, this will be the deciding factor between me going DLP or LCD…
