Anybody have knowledge about the design of worm drives? I’m trying to work up a Torsen differential (1:8th scale) it should be very printable at the right size, and it will be awesome if it works well.
Sounds like a cool idea and very doable. 
Daniel, would you be willing to share your car so far? From the thingiverse pictures, it looks like at least your whole front end is printed?
See PM. Qhy not do test on a Torsen Diff? At a scale of 1:8 could you provide some helping dimensions of what size it should be? Approximately?
Will do. I plan on printing it tonight. worm gears are tough to design ;). I’m also heading to a local hobby shop to pick up a motor, radio, etc. etc.
How did it go with the Torsen Differential? Any luck?
I just got back to school, so I have access to my main computer again. Things should move much more quickly.
