It’s an unfortunate symptom of this hobby. None of the parts are particularly expensive, they’re just half a world away. When they’re available locally, they’ll be proportionally more expensive. So, $5 for two and 3 weeks time, or $6 a piece, local pickup?
The local R/C hobby shop had exactly 1 (one) closed GT2 belt, and it was half a meter long.
Just having a reseller one day’s ground shipping distance would be a big help. Two days covers most of the contiguous US by Priority Mail. There are a few domestic sellers of 3D printer parts, but they mostly stock parts for their own designs than stock a variety of parts.
Agreed, but could that reseller charge enough to stay in business?
