After months of research I decided on the Ecksbot for my first 3D Printer. I chose them for the improvements they added to the original reprap as well as the availability of SolidWorks models. I had my eye on the RepRapPro but did not care for how the multi color printing ended up working (nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t for me). I printed the orange parts on an Afinia 3D Printer I had available to me for a short time at work. The printed Y Carriage was done on another machine but still fits up nice. I needed to drill a few holes out, but not too bad so far.
