After i finished my Truggy project, i started to build the F1.

After i finished my Truggy project, i started to build the F1. Everthing works fine, exept the Pinion_Gear. After a few seconds the Pinion_Gear looses the connecten to the shaft. There is no screw in the Pinion_Gear, so whats the trick to hold the Pinion_Gear on shaft. I found a gear with a hole on Thingiverse, but i think there is a trick to use the original design.
Thanks for your help!

Not having printed it yet, I would surmise by your description that the hole the shaft fits through is too loose. I believe that’s supposed to be a press fit. A possible solution without reprinting the part would be to use a pin vise (a pen like device that’s made to hold very small drill bits in case you don’t know) to drill a hole in the gear then tap it. Fit the shaft into the gear and mark where the hole is, then take a Dremel or similar device and grind a small flat where that mark is. Use a set screw and it should hold the gear in place.
