After 3 months of work, I’d like to share what I’ve been working on:
I can’t say if it’s as robust as off the shelf off road cars because I’ve never had one–I can’t afford one that’s why I made this lol
I will say this though, it’s a lot more robust than I thought it would be. All the driving I did in that video, I only had one part break, and I redesigned that part so hopefully it won’t break again.
Generally, parts will break over time though, but the beauty is that I designed most of the parts that may break to be fast prints. Any of the parts that may break should be printable in less than 30 minutes or less. Most likely the CV axles should print within 15 minutes–Those, by the way, are the most prone to breakage–That is intentional.
