Hi all. First time on the new site. For those who have not seen my work, I am a fine artist in the Seattle area and have tinkering around with a K40 to cut and engrave parts of my sculptures, that I refer to as “relics”.
The shown piece is acrylic paint on birch plywood and MDF.

Did you laser cut the wood before you painted it?
Do you have a link to a website with more of your work?
The outside frame is plywood skinned with mdf with lasercut and engraved details on top. The garibaldi fish, gold frame and background are lasercut and engraved plywood. I lasercut and engrave it before painting.
